Collections

A collection is a named bucket of saved viral posts from Inspiration. Use collections to build focused playbooks — your “best hooks” library, your “stories I love” library, your “what I’d never write” cautionary library.

Creating a collection

Canopy → Collections → New collection:

  1. Name it (Best founder hooks, Long-form story templates).
  2. Save.

You can also create-on-the-fly: when saving a post from Inspiration, the dialog has + New collection at the bottom of the picker.

Adding to a collection

Three ways:

  • From Inspiration — heart icon on any post → pick collection.
  • From a collection page — search a post’s URL, attach.
  • Bulk — open a collection → Add multiple → search and multi-select from Inspiration.

Inside a collection

A collection page is a vertical list of saved posts (same card shape as Inspiration). Sort by:

  • Saved date — newest first.
  • Engagement — most-liked first.
  • Posted date — chronological.

Riffing from a collection

Same Riff button as on Inspiration. Riffing from a collection is useful when you want the AI to consider all posts in the collection as collective inspiration (not just one source). Toggle Use whole collection as context in the Riff dialog.

Removing posts

Hover the card → ⋯ → Remove from collection. Doesn’t delete the underlying post from Inspiration — just unsaves it from this collection.

Sharing collections

Not yet — collections are per-user. Shared collections (read-only links, team collections) are on the roadmap.

Frequently asked questions

How many collections / how many posts per collection?

No hard limit. Practical: collections with >100 posts get unwieldy to skim. Split by theme.

Can I export a collection?

Yes — collection page → ⋯ → Export CSV. Includes author, post body, engagement, and the LinkedIn URL.

Will the same post stay in my collection if it’s deleted from LinkedIn?

The cached text + stats are preserved — you’ll still see the collection card. The “View on LinkedIn” link will 404, and a small “original post deleted” pill appears on the card.
