Connections
The Connections page is your LinkedIn 1st-degree network as Outpilot sees it. It’s pulled at account-connect time and kept incrementally in sync.
What you see
A grid of every 1st-degree connection across your connected accounts:
| Column | Source |
|---|---|
| Name | |
| Headline | |
| Company | |
| Connected since | The accept-date you both connected |
| Last interaction | Most recent DM, like, or comment between you |
| Source | LinkedIn (always; non-Outpilot historical connections show too) |
Filter by:
- Company
- Headline keywords
- Connected since (date range)
- “Has DM history” toggle
Sync
Outpilot syncs your connection list:
- Initial — at account-connect time. Pulls up to 5,000 connections; if you have more, a background job fills the rest within a day.
- Incremental — every ~6 hours. Detects new accepts (yours or inbound) and disconnections.
Force a fresh sync via ⋯ → Sync now on the page header.
Using connections as leads
Two ways:
Bulk-add to a list
- Filter / select the connections you want.
- Bulk actions → Add to list.
- Pick or create a destination list.
The selected connections become leads in that list. Their 1st-degree status means Send message steps run immediately (no need for a Connection request first).
Auto-enroll into a campaign
When creating a campaign, attach the Connections filter as a lead source — Outpilot continuously enrolls newly-accepted connections into the campaign. Useful for:
- Welcome sequences for new connections.
- Activation campaigns (“now that we’re connected, here’s what I do”).
Disconnecting a connection
Outpilot doesn’t allow disconnecting from LinkedIn — that’s a LinkedIn-side action you take on linkedin.com. If you disconnect on LinkedIn, the connection vanishes from Outpilot’s view on the next sync.
Frequently asked questions
Why do my connection counts differ between Outpilot and LinkedIn?
Common reasons:
- Initial sync hasn’t finished (takes up to 24h for accounts with
5,000 connections).
- LinkedIn includes “people you’ve requested” or “pending invites” in some count surfaces. Outpilot only counts confirmed 1st-degree.
Can I see 2nd / 3rd degree?
No — Outpilot only stores 1st-degree connections. For 2nd / 3rd prospect search, use Generate Leads → LinkedIn Search or Sales Navigator.
Does syncing connections count toward my LinkedIn limits?
The connection-list scrape uses LinkedIn’s regular browse APIs and is rate-limited internally to a small fraction of your daily search quota. In practice it has no impact on campaign sends.
