Canopy → Settings. Tabs:

LinkedIn accounts

Connect, reconnect, or disconnect LinkedIn accounts that Canopy can publish from.

  • Connect LinkedIn — opens LinkedIn OAuth. Canopy gets w_member_social
    • r_liteprofile scopes; that’s it.
  • Reconnect — when a token expires (typically every 60 days), the account row’s pill flips to red and posts won’t publish. Click to re-auth.
  • Disconnect — removes the connection. Scheduled posts targeting the account fail until you reconnect. Doesn’t delete the posts.

You can connect multiple LinkedIn accounts (e.g. personal + company page). Each post targets exactly one account — picked at draft time.

Posting schedule

Define your weekly publishing rhythm. Used by the Queue and the Calendar.

Add slots as (day-of-week, time, timezone) triples. Common patterns:

  • Light — Mon/Wed/Fri at 09:00.
  • Standard — Mon-Fri at 09:00.
  • Heavy — Mon-Fri at 09:00 + 14:00 (10 slots/week).

Timezone is per-slot, but most users keep all slots in one zone.

AI

Configure which AI provider Canopy uses for hooks, improvements, AI Chat, and Content Agents.

  • ProviderAnthropic (default, Claude Sonnet) or OpenAI (GPT-4o).
  • Auto-fallback — if the primary provider errors, automatically retry with the other. Recommended on.
  • Monthly AI credits used — running counter; resets on your billing day.

Plan & billing

Opens the Stripe customer portal — same surface as Account → Plans & billing, shown here for convenience.

Canopy itself is free; AI generations consume monthly credits from your plan’s quota. Hit the cap and AI features pause until reset.

Account

  • User ID — copy when contacting support.
  • Display name + photo — what shows on the dashboard.
  • Sign out everywhere — kills all active sessions.
  • Delete account — see Deleting your account.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have a different schedule per LinkedIn account?

Not currently — schedule slots are account-global. Per-account schedules are on the roadmap. Workaround: set up the slots that match your most-used account, and schedule posts for the secondary account manually via Calendar.

How do I switch the timezone for everything?

Settings → Posting schedule → bulk action: convert timezone. Updates every existing slot to the new zone. SCHEDULED posts keep their absolute time (so a 9 a.m. EST post becomes a 6 a.m. PST post, not a 9 a.m. PST post).
