Inspiration feed

Canopy → Inspiration is the feed itself.

Layout

A vertical card list, infinite-scrolled. Each card shows:

  • Author — name, headline, profile photo.
  • Post body — full text (no truncation).
  • Stats — likes • comments • shares.
  • Posted at — relative time (“3 days ago”).
  • Topic / niche tags — Banyan’s classification.
  • Actions — Save to collection, Riff, View on LinkedIn.

Filtering

Top of the page:

  • Niche — pick from SaaS, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Hiring, Founder voice, etc. Multi-select.
  • Min likes — hide posts below a threshold.
  • Date range — last 7 / 30 / 90 days. Default: 7.
  • Search — full-text against post body.

Filters apply live; the feed updates as you toggle.

Riff into a draft

Click Riff on any card to open Compose with:

  • The original post loaded as inspiration context (visible in the AI panel as a reference).
  • An auto-generated first-pass draft based on the original’s structure but applied to your topic.

Tweak the topic in the AI panel, click Generate, and the AI produces a fresh post that mirrors the original’s hook + structure but in your voice on your topic.

The riffed draft never quotes the original — it’s structurally inspired only. You’re not republishing someone else’s content.

Save to collection

Click the Save icon (heart) on any card → pick a collection (or create one). The post is saved with all its metadata for later reference. See Collections.

How often does the feed refresh?

New posts arrive daily (early morning UTC). The feed sorts by createdAt desc by default — newest first.

Frequently asked questions

Can I propose a niche that’s missing?

Yes — email support@banyan.app with the niche name + 3–5 example authors / accounts in that space, and we’ll add it to the curation pipeline.

Why don’t I see posts from people I follow?

Inspiration is curated globally, not from your LinkedIn graph. Following someone on LinkedIn doesn’t change what shows up here.

Can I block authors I don’t want to see?

Not yet. Workaround: use the niche filter to scope tighter.

Are these posts cleared with the authors?

The posts are public LinkedIn content. Banyan caches the text + stats for display; we link out to the original on linkedin.com on every “View on LinkedIn” click. We don’t claim authorship and we don’t republish content as our own.
