Lead lists
A lead list is a named collection of leads. Lists are the unit campaigns attach to.
Creating a list
Outpilot → Leads → New list opens a dialog with three options:
- Empty list — name only; you’ll add leads later.
- Upload CSV — see Importing leads.
- Generate from LinkedIn — see Generating leads.
Naming convention that pays off later: <source> — <ICP> — <month>,
e.g. SalesNav — RevOps directors — May.
List page
Open any list to see:
- Lead grid — name, title, company, location, status, plus any custom columns. Sortable; click a row to open the lead detail page.
- Filter bar — by state (enrolled / replied / unenrolled / etc.), by campaign, by last activity.
- Bulk actions — select N leads with the checkbox column:
- Add to campaign — enroll in another campaign.
- Remove — delete from this list (does not delete the lead globally).
- Move — to another list.
- Tag — apply a tag for later filtering.
Combining lists
Outpilot → Leads → Combine lists merges two or more lists into a new list. The original lists are untouched. Useful when you’ve imported multiple Sales Navigator searches and want one campaign target.
Combine dedupes — leads in multiple source lists appear once in the result.
Exporting
Every list page has an Export CSV button. The export includes every column on the list including custom fields. Activity columns (last sent, last replied) are derived; they’re recomputed at export time.
Deleting
⋯ → Delete list archives the list. Deletion is soft — leads inside aren’t destroyed; they remain accessible by URL and in any campaigns they’re enrolled in.
Frequently asked questions
How big can a list be?
Practical limit is ~50,000 leads per list. Above that, the UI gets slow even though the engine handles it. Split into multiple lists by ICP, geography, or source.
Do leads from different lists go through a campaign separately?
No — a campaign treats all attached lists as one unified pool, deduped
by linkedinUrl. The lead’s source list is just metadata.
Can I move a lead between lists?
Yes — bulk Move action on the list grid. Doesn’t disturb their campaign state.
