Leads
A lead in Outpilot is a person you might want to reach. Leads are organized into lead lists that you attach to campaigns.
What’s in this section
Lead lists Create, organize, combine, and export lead lists.
Importing leads CSV upload, manual add, and what columns to bring.
Generating leads Sales Navigator import, post Reactor scrape, LinkedIn search — three ways to build lists from scratch.
Email enrichment Find work-email addresses for leads who came in without one.
Lead anatomy
A lead has these fields:
- Required:
linkedinUrl(the canonical identifier). - Standard:
firstName, lastName, email, company, title, industry, location, headline. - Custom: any number of
customField.X = Ypairs you bring in via CSV.
Outpilot dedupes by linkedinUrl — adding the same URL twice (in
the same list, in different lists, in the same campaign) is a no-op.
States
Each lead has a campaign-scoped state:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
unenrolled | In the list but not yet entered any campaign |
enrolled | Currently in flight in at least one campaign |
replied | Replied to outreach in any campaign |
completed | Reached End of every campaign they were in |
paused | Manually paused or auto-paused due to error |
skipped | A specific step couldn’t run; lead continues |
The state is per-campaign, so a lead can be replied in Campaign A
and enrolled in Campaign B simultaneously.
